The morning that kept on giving!
It was one of those chilly mornings where I found myself undecided about whether to go out or stay in, as we had experienced a hard frost overnight with clear skies above and the possibility of mist settling gently in the valleys below. Being familiar with all the great spots that reliably offer good conditions is definitely an advantage when living in The Peak District, and this time I certainly wasn’t disappointed—I was genuinely glad I made the decision to venture out. The crisp, fresh air combined with the shimmering frost on the landscape and the soft, delicate veil of mist created a truly perfect atmosphere for photography, allowing me to capture the calm tranquility and subtle beauty that are unique to this peaceful time of day. Moments such as these never fail to remind me why I love exploring and photographing the natural wonders of The Peak District.
